Mission Impossible technology brought to life… for only $70! This device allows users to navigate through their computers using hand gestures.
This prototype camera allows the user to take photographs using their hands, by creating the frame with their fingers. This results in a new, intuitive way of creating photography.
Not related to my project, just think there’s some really great ideas worth looking at here.
“At this year’s Igloofest, an electronic music festival in Montreal, Iregular exhibited CONTROL NO CONTROL, an installation with four touch screens that allows passersby to control light patterns in synchronization with the live performances occurring on stage.”
Simple and effective.

The rainforest is a place that is always changing. I’m thinking about reflecting this through abstract geometric walls that move slightly. I found this building inspirational.
I posted this a while ago and just remembered it. I think it would work really well with my rainforest brief as an introduction to the installation. It’s very effective and I was thinking of surrounding it with leaves and trees to make it look as though it fits in the correct environment. Text would appear welcoming people or perhaps saying a quote in relation to the rainforest. Something to think about.
‘Trafalgar Sun’
Greyworlds latest art installation took place in Trafalgar Square, London, this morning.
‘January 23rd. One of the most depressing days of the year.
Its a Monday. Christmas is long gone, but the bills are coming in.
Another week until pay day. And there is little daylight.
To change things for the better, greyworld created a special Sun, which spread its dawn light throughout Trafalgar Square for one day only.
Weighing 2.5 tons, and using 210,000 watts of power, the Sun illuminated the Square to give Londoners a brighter start.
The project was commissioned by Pepsi Co.’
