I was blown away by ‘Cloud Cities’ when I first saw it. I wanted to jump straight inside the suspended bubbles. The larger bubble has two sections. On the bottom layer is an airlock. Once inside you notice the air being blown in to keep the sphere up. People crawl around above you and the floor is mirrored. once on the second layer you realise how high up you are and can look down at the people below, you also realise how high up you are as you can see yourself in the reflection of the mirror below. This installation is a great influence for my project.
